Abstract
Lombok Barat merupakan kabupaten yang pertumbuhan penduduknya sangat pesat dan di ikuti oleh bertambahnya komplek perumahan. Permasalahan yang muncul adalah pengelolaan air limbah domestik yang di salurkan ke drainase perumahan tanpa melakukan pengolahan, sehingga mencemari lingkungan. Selanjutnya di lakukan studi pengelolaan air limbah domestik dengan membuat alternatif strategi pengelolaan, menentukan sistem dan teknologi yang sesuai untuk diterapkan. Melalui observasi lapangan dan wawancara, data di analisis dengan metode deskritif kualitatif untuk mendapatkan kondisi dan permasalahan pengelolaan air limbah domestik di Kabupaten Lombok Barat. Selanjutnya kondisi dan permasalah tersebut diidentifikasi dengan analisis SWOT untuk mengetahui kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang dan tantangannya. Analisis SWOT menghasilkan strategi alternatif. Dengan bantuan metode AHP yaitu metode yang melakukan perbandingan bobot tingkat kepentingan, dapat di ketahui Hirarki tingkat kepentingan variable yang berpengaruh. Dibantu dengan program komputer expert choice didapat alternatif terpilih, berdasarkan besaran pembobotan tertinggi setiap alternatif. Hasil terpilih adalah alternative II yaitu, sistem pengolahan setempat skala perumahan, penyaluran menggunakan pemipaan, pengolahan menggunakan sistem ABR (tangki Anaerob), air limpahan ABR dialirkan ke kolam basah, selanjutnya air limpahan dari kolam basah dapat di buang kesaluran drainase.
