Abstract

Pertumbuhan penduduk di Kecamatan Pahandut, Kota Palangka Raya, Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah berkembang pesat. Jumlah penduduk, yang terdapat pertokoan, pasar tradisional, dan keberadaan Bandara Tjilik Riwut, pasti  berpengaruh besar dalam masalah persampahan. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menghitung produktivitas arm roll truck pengangkut sampah di Kecamatan, dan agar mengetahui berapa produktivitas truk pengangkut sampah di Kecamatan Pahandut. Pengangkutan sampah menggunakan metode HCS (Hauled Container System) dimana kontainer untuk menyimpan sampah diangkut ke tempat pembuangan, dikosongkan, dan dikembalikan ke lokasi semula atau dipindahkan ke lokasi lain. Untuk pengumpulan data dilakukan survei ke lapangan dan dianalisis menggunakan metode emperis. Dari hasil analisis didapatkan bahwa kapasitas rata-rata yang diangkut dengan sistem wadah angkut menggunakan arm roll truck adalah 23,890 m3/hari atau sama dengan 6,544 m3/jam/truk. Waktu angkut rata-rata yang dibutuhkan truk untuk beroperasi setiap hari adalah 3,628 jam/hari dengan jumlah ritasi pengangkutan 15 rit/hari.
