Abstract

Berdasarkan pengamatan di Jalan Bereng Bengkel, Kelurahan Bereng Bengkel, Kecamatan Sabangau, Kota Palangka Raya Provinsi Kalimantan Tengah, cenderung didominasi tanah lempung. Kondisi jalan di daerah tersebut sebagian masih belum beraspal dan bergelombang. Untuk mengatasi hal tersebut perlu adanya stabilisasi tanah. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui pengaruh penambahan serbuk gypsum, abu serbuk kayu, dan garam dapur pada tanah lempung terhadap nilai CBR dengan pengujian sifat fisik dan mekanik tanah asli. Dari pengujian sifat fisik di dapat Klasifikasi AASHTO tergolong tanah kelompok A-7-6 (12), sedangkan USCS tergolong tanah dalam kelompok CH, yaitu tanah lempung anorganik dengan plastisitas tinggi, lempung berpasir, lempung berlanau. Data-data hasil pengujian parameter tanah lainnya yaitu : presentasi kadar air (w) = 39,66%; berat isi (γ_d) = 1,18 g/cm3; berat jenis (Gs) = 2,65; batas cair (LL) = 52,70%; batas plastis (PL) = 27,07%; indeks plastisitas (PI) = 25,63%; batas susut (SL) = 26,08%; analisis saringan persentase lolos saringan no.200 = 56,28%. Hasil pengujian CBR tanah asli didapat nilai 2,50%, setelah pencampuran dengan serbuk gypsum, abu serbuk kayu, dan garam dapur tanpa rendaman didapat nilai CBR masing-masing 2,84%, 3,10%, 4,10%. Setelah terjadinya perendaman 4 hari didapat nilai CBR tanah asli sebesar 0,34%, pada campuran pertama nilai CBR sebesar 0,26%, lalu pada campuran kedua nilai CBR sebesar 0,51%, dan pada campuran ketiga nilai CBR sebesar 0,12%.
